The square foulard, “Monsieur & Madame” by Hermes, has wonderful patterns and colors that truly speak of the fabulous heritage this brand is built upon. Here I am wearing the fresh cotton foulard as an outstanding sleeveless top - love it!
The majestic necklace creates a wonderful combination with the style of the top.
Traditionally worn by the Miao Hmong women of Southern China, Northern Vietnam and Laos to protect the community from evil spirits and bring good luck, it has five independent rings with dragons on the front. Each ring lying upon each other forms a stunning breastplate.
Larger pieces in this style (yes, they make them larger) are worn for ceremonies, and are a stunning example of traditional South East Asian ethnic jewelry – intricate and always wonderful to wear.
