Jacket or Jewelry?

Traditional garments with jewelry embellishments make distinctive pieces in any wardrobe. Their uniqueness is derived by combining old, authentic jewelry or fabric inserts with structured design – they always have a story to tell.
These unusual ornaments can create a dazzling display of light, movement and sometimes sound. My black jacket features stunning silver studs at the front that each line up beautifully with every pin-tuck – like an endless string of glittering small buttons.
The jacket is very comfortable to wear. It is made of soft batik-dyed fabric with traditional fine spirals, scalloped-edge designs and precise symmetrical patterns on both sides. I really like the black dyed color, which is more elaborate than the typical indigo dye. The fabric gives off a subtle, waxy shine obtained by using natural substances and traditional techniques.
